Post-Graduate Diploma – Islamic Banking & Finance

About the course: –
This course is designed to help students to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills on Islamic banking, and finance with its “true sense and concepts among the people related or unrelated to the banking or insurance professions.” The course will provide students with a deep understanding of Islamic Banking and Finance operations, as well as its applications in the real field leading to an Islamic finance qualification. Students will be awarded PGD certificate upon successfully completing the course which is accepted worldwide for further studies.
Who should take this course? This course is for those individual already holding bachelors degree in any field and will like to pursue career in Islamic banking, insurance and finance industry. Staffs, and professionals holding accounting, and finance certificates, and already in the banking, insurance, and finance industries are also qualified to enroll into this course.

Entry requirement:-
The minimum academic qualification to enter this Post Graduate Diploma program is a Bachelor’s degree (in any field), or persons holding Diploma in Islamic Banking. Students already possessing an undergraduate degree or its equivalent in other disciplines can take PGD and then take Master’s degree in Islamic Finance program rather than the undergraduate degree program. Te PGD represents a prerequisite bridge certificate for joining the MA, and Msc Islamic Banking, and Finance.

This course is Accredited by Higher Education of Pakistan, affiliated with USA University, and the same as item one above except the accreditation council is different. Holders of this PGD can pursued MBA- Islamic Banking and Finance from Pebble Hills University (PHU), which can be completed online with three more subjects and thesis work comprising of 15 credit hours.
Duration and modules:-
This course consists of four modules and each module has 2 months duration. Each Module builds up knowledge from the previous one.

Course Fees:
The fee is US$1450 or its equivalent in Ghanaian Cedi (GHC). This fee is subsidized to make it affordable for students, and help develop the Industry in the region as part of worldwide Islamic Banking development support.
We accept payment in Ghanaian equivalent of the US$ , which can be made through bank transfer/deposit or at our office in Accra
